Permanent Jewellery Parties: Hen Dos, Birthdays and Group Bookings

Some of my best days are spent welding bracelets at hen parties, birthday celebrations, and girls' nights. There is something really special about a group of friends choosing their chains, picking charms, and getting zapped together. I started Lae Jewellery in 2020, and the name stands for the initials of Lucy, Alastair, and Emma. Since then, I have taught myself everything from gemstone design to permanent jewellery welding in my home studio in Four Crosses, Powys. How a Permanent Jewellery Party Works

I bring everything to you. My Zapp Plus 2 welder, a full selection of chains, charms, and add-ons. All you need to provide is a table, a plug socket, and a group of people ready to get zapped.

• Choose your chain: Each person picks from a range of 14ct gold filled and sterling silver chains in different styles and widths.
• Pick your add-ons: Birthstone charms, initials, tiny hearts. These small details make each piece personal.
• Get welded: I measure the chain to fit perfectly, then weld it shut using the Zapp Plus 2. A thin leather barrier sits between your skin and the jewellery during welding. It takes about ten minutes per person and is completely painless.
• Pricing: Starts from £45 per person. Add-ons are extra, and I will talk you through everything on the day.
• Group size: I welcome groups of any size. Whether it is three friends or thirty, I will make it work.

Permanent jewellery is not just for hen dos. I regularly weld bracelets for birthday celebrations, milestone moments, and special get-togethers of all kinds.

• Mother-daughter pairs: A matching bracelet is a lovely way to mark a birthday or special occasion together.
• Milestone birthdays: 18ths, 21sts, 30ths, 50ths. A permanent bracelet is a gift that quite literally stays with you.
• Best friend celebrations: Friendship bracelets, but the grown-up version that does not fall off in the shower.
• Personalise with charms: Add a birthstone for extra meaning, or an initial pendant to make it truly yours.

My studio is in Four Crosses, Powys (SY22 6NE), right on the border of Shropshire and Wales. I travel across both counties for private bookings, so wherever you are in the area, I can probably get to you.

How to Book

Booking a permanent jewellery party is straightforward. Here is what to do:

1. Get in touch: Send me a message on Instagram @laejewellery or use my SumUp booking page to check availability.
2. Tell me the details: Date, rough group size, location, and the occasion. I will let you know everything you need.
3. Pay a small deposit: A deposit per person secures your booking. It gets deducted from the final total on the day, so you are not paying extra.
4. Enjoy the experience: I arrive with everything set up and ready. All your group needs to do is choose their chains and enjoy the process.
