Permanent Jewellery in Bridgnorth

Bridgnorth sits in the heart of Shropshire, and I love bringing permanent jewellery pop-up events to this beautiful market town. Whether you catch me at a local event or book a private appointment at my studio in Four Crosses, I would love to weld something special for you. For all my service locations, visit my main permanent jewellery across Shropshire and Powys page.

Permanent jewellery is a chain bracelet, anklet, or necklace that is custom-fitted and welded shut. No clasp, no catches. Just a seamless piece of real jewellery that stays with you. Prices start from £45.

What Is Permanent Jewellery?

I use a Zapp Plus 2 micro welder to join a sterling silver 925 or 14ct gold filled chain directly onto your wrist, ankle, or neck. A thin leather barrier sits between the chain and your skin, so the spark only touches the metal. Ten minutes and done.

Every chain is made from real materials that will not tarnish or discolour. Gold filled is 50 to 100 times thicker than gold plating and lasts 10 to 30 years.

Pricing

Permanent jewellery starts from £45 for a sterling silver chain. Gold filled options and add-on charms are available for a personal touch.

Why Choose Lae Jewellery?

I am Lucy. I started Lae Jewellery in 2020 at my kitchen table during lockdown. The name Lae stands for our family initials: Lucy, Alastair, and Emma. I handcraft every piece in my studio in Four Crosses, Powys, SY22 6NE, using only 925 sterling silver and 14ct gold filled. No plated metals, no shortcuts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does permanent jewellery hurt?

Not at all. A thin leather barrier protects your skin. The spark only touches the metal, and most people say they barely notice it.

Can I shower with permanent jewellery?

Yes. Both sterling silver and gold filled are waterproof. Swim, shower, and sleep with ease.

How long does permanent jewellery last?

Gold filled chains last 10 to 30 years. Sterling silver lasts decades. Both are designed for everyday life.

What if I need to remove it?

Snip it with scissors. I can re-weld it later if you want it back on. Read more about removing permanent jewellery.
