Ring Size Guide
Ring Size Guide: mm to UK Conversion and Measuring Tips
Choosing the correct ring size ensures your jewellery is comfortable and secure. This guide shows you how to measure your ring size at home and provides a conversion chart for millimetres (mm) to UK ring letters. Use it when ordering our rings to find your perfect fit.
How to Measure Your Ring Size
To measure your finger, wrap a narrow strip of paper or string around the base of the finger on which you will wear the ring. Mark where the ends meet and lay the strip flat against a ruler to find the circumference in millimetres or inches. Measure when your hands are warm and at the end of the day, as fingers can swell or shrink with temperature. Avoid measuring after strenuous activity or when cold. If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size or opting for our Create Your Own Ring.

Frequently Asked Questions
How tight should a ring fit?
A properly fitted ring should slide over your knuckle with slight resistance and sit comfortably without pinching. It should not spin freely but should be easy to remove with a gentle twist.
Can I convert my ring size from UK to US?
Yes. A UK size N corresponds roughly to a US size 7. You can find conversion charts online or ask a jeweller to confirm the equivalent. If you often shop on US websites, noting both sizes can be useful.
What if my knuckle is larger than the base of my finger?
Measure both the knuckle and the base of your finger and select a size in between. Alternatively, choose an adjustable or open‑band ring that can accommodate the difference.
